Coaching for parents of gifted children, teens, and young adults, and gifted adults.

I bring expertise, education and experience of the gifted brain to my coaching with this population. Often, as a parent you feel at a loss in understanding and helping your child. As an adult you may have felt like you never quite fit in, know you're meant for more, but unable to achieve it, or struggled with mental health (depression, anxiety, OCD) for a majority of your life.

I am here to help. It is freeing to understand your brain, feelings, and the intensities you've lived with your whole life.

You will understand your brain, its wiring, so you can grow awareness, tools for mitigating frustrations, and an appreciation for the incredible mind you have!

Current Landscape

  • In addition to behavioral differences, structural and functional differences are found in the Gifted brain, when compared to a Neurotypical brain. Enlarged brain regions, greater cortical thickness, and connectivity, delayed neural pruning and increased recruitment of explicit vs. implicit processing systems.
  • The above contribute to asynchronous development, which can lead to various behavior challenges, personally, or socially, and educational challenges.
  • Behavior often presents similarly to ADHD and ASD.
